Rainbows

It was raining slightly during the rally. A few raindrops landed on the lenses of my glasses, a few on my jacket and in my eyes (lenses only protect so much). All of this, and the rally kept going. Soon, the rainclouds parted and the sun shown through, the slight rain every now and then did not stop.
I looked for a rainbow and saw several. On the flags, posters, ribbons and even the hair of the attendees. The sky didn't have to show it's elegance, everyone has the same sky, everyone has the same insides. Let this show that everyone deserves equality.
As much as a rainbow in the sky would of pulled the whole thing together, it's okay.
My grandmother used to always tell me when I was a child that if the sun is shining while it is raining, the Devil is beating, or chasing, his wife.
I don't know where that stands in this. Just a bit of memory.

Peace, Love, & Kisses,

Caroline
